THE SIDE OF THORA STORE
NOW WHAT HAPPENED HERE ? THIS WAS ONCE AN EXCELLENT CAFE. I USED TO LIKE SITTING HERE. NOW ITS UNSUSED AND WHEN I ASKED ABOUT TAKE AWAYS, THEY SAID THEY ONLY MAKE THEM WHEN THERE ARE TWO PEOPLE WORKING THERE. THE BOTTLE SHOP SEEMS TO BE THE BIGGEST PART OF THE THORA STORE NOW. SEEMS A SHAME TO ME.
Once when we lived in Bondi, we had a white rabbit called Harvey ( see the James Stewart movie of the same name ). With the prospect of moving to a better flat ( where rabbits were not allowed) we passed Harvey onto a neighbour who was going to live in the Country and danged if he didn’t bring said Harvey all the way to our own hometown and take him to live right next to Thora Store.
