THE HAWKESBURY RIVER. Stayed in a motel which I later discovered to be on the site of the Old Government House where my ancestor Johannah Ready was Housekeeper and her son John was Dairyman. Way back in the early 1800s. That is, if John really were the father of the child he is supposed to have fathered.
