FINAL CHOICE FOR THE TEXTURED IMAGE : A PLACE I ONCE LIVED IN, THROUGH THE WINDOWS OF A STARWAGON.
Its not much as far as photos go but I have chosen it as my TEXTURED image for the week. It was painted red way back in the 1970s and marks a LOW point in my life. I have seen it several times since I escaped from it and went back to the country but this is the first time I have been able to take a photo. I came upon it unexpectedly the other day when dropping my niece at Central Station. No time amongst traffic even to open the window of the Starwagon so there it is with my own reflection looking at the old dosshouse. Another element woven into the memories of my life. It was once an hotel but was no longer one by 1977. Across the road was the Quakers’ Hall. That would have been a far, far better place to be. THE QUAKERS

I never knew what the Quakers were until then, that was informative. Thank you for that. Its a bit buzzy wandering around old haunts from out youth. I enjoyed the images. The elements of our past that have been the weft and weave of our existence from which the rest of life has been patched in on top. Well that is how I see it. I love the new theme as well! Have a nice time down there.
